Overview
Daily Readings is designed to work entirely offline. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Data Collected
None. Daily Readings does not collect any personal information, including but not limited to:
- Name, email address, or contact details
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Browsing or reading history sent to any server
Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores two small pieces of data locally on your device using Apple’s standard storage (UserDefaults):

| Which daily portions you have marked as read | So your progress checkmarks persist |
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer or any third party.
Bible Text
All Bible text is bundled within the app itself. No content is downloaded from the internet, and no reading history is transmitted anywhere.
Text-to-Speech
The app uses Apple’s built-in on-device text-to-speech (AVSpeechSynthesizer) to read Bible text aloud. Audio is generated locally on your device and is not recorded or transmitted.
Third-Party Services
Daily Readings uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or cloud services of any kind.
Children’s Privacy
Daily Readings does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted at this URL. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated accordingly.
